Grieving the loss of Mika and Moon ...

Grieving the loss of Mika and Moon will take a long time but what helps each day is seeing the other 70 chimps living happy, natural lives. Nyanga and Carla, our two youngest chimps are “best buds” and always hit the forest trail in tandem. Sharing hugs is a normal part of their day, and we hope they will soon be able to move into a new enclosure with surrogate mother chimps to provide even more nurturing.
